People must believe in each other, and feel that it can and must be done -- that way they are enormously strong.  We must keep each other's courage up.......

Carolyn Jones, President


Carolyn was born and raised in Lowell Massachusetts. There is where she met her husband Paul (a Ruskin native) who was temporarily working in Boston.  They married and moved to Florida 17 years ago.  She has three children 2 boys and a girl.  Paul and I work together at our business Central Florida Frame and Axle Inc, located in Tampa.  We all love hunting, fishing, boating and skiing, but most of all being together.


Yvonne Raley,Corresponding Secretary

 

Yvonne has been a member of the RJWC since 2004 and was also Vice President from 2005-2007. She grew up and attended schools in the South Shore area. Yvonne graduated in 1998 from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science. She is married with 2 sons. Yvonne and her husband work with their family at Raley Tropical Fish, Inc. wholesaling tropical fish. I enjoy outdoor activities and utilize our beautiful bay and rivers often, with a conservational heart.

Amber Council, Treasurer and Public Relations


Amber has lived in Ruskin for 16 years. Her and her Husband, Travis, have been married for 15 years, and she has two beautiful children that attend Apollo Beach Elementary.   She is a stay-at-home Mom and she helps out her husband with his business.  She joined the Ruskin Woman's Club in 1998 and helped organize the Ruskin Junior Woman's Club in 2001.  I love working to improve my community and make it a better place for my family!   

 

Lydia Lewis, Recording Secretay and Second Vice President

 

Lydia is the mother of 3, and resides in Balm; She enjoys watching her 2 boys play at East Bay Little League, and enjoys watching her little girl discover her world.  She has been married for 12 years, and has been teaching for 11 years.  Currently she is teaching at the Homebound School.   She has been a member of the Ruskin Junior Woman’s Club since 2001.  She has held the position of secretary from 2004 thru 2006. 

Robin Council, Director

Robin is the mother of three beautiful daughters and the wife of a strawberry farmer.  She has been married for 11 years.  She spends most of her time volunteering at Apollo Beach Elementary and Ruskin Christian School where her two oldest children attend.  She helped with the reinstatement of the Ruskin Junior Woman's Club in 2001 and held the office of President for the 2006-2007 club years and now Director.
